Walking into Revolution Live on a Saturday night, you can feel the crowd waiting anxiously and excitedly for their band to take the stage. The audience’s age ranges from mid-twenties to those well in their 60s.
That’s because the band they’re all waiting for, Disco Biscuits, has been around since the mid-1990s but their music is heavily influenced by classic rock and trance (often described as trance fusion). It’s obvious they capture the attention of all kinds of popular music fans.
This jam band originates from Philadelphia but this stop in South Florida is one of the many in their nationwide tour. The band currently consists of Allen Aucoin (drums), Marc “Brownie” Brownstein (bass guitar), Jon “The Barber” Gutwillig (guitar) and Aron Magner (keyboards, synths).
The group members came together because they shared a love for psychedelic rock, electronic music, soul, blues, jazz and classical. It’s no wonder they’ve successfully generated a large fan base that have accumulated over the years.
